Even though, the “Nido” stools seem to be fragile from a distance, anyhow, while sitting on them, they turn out to be very robust.
At the same time, however, they are nearly light as a feather (approximately 900 grams).
That form and function are interwoven so successfully, owe the stools their construction of fiberglass drenched in resin.
The designer Eva Marguerre from Karlsruhe developed a production procedure, by which the fibers are connected and wrapped
in different ways. So, starting with the basic model, individual stools with different patterns and structures are produced.
Moreover, the resin makes the stools weatherproof and light resistant, so, that they are also suitable for balcony and terrace.
